“Pumpkin Piñata” Pumpkin Drop

For all the kids…no bats or whacks, sticks or swings necessary to crack open this treat-filled orange behemoth. We raise a giant pumpkin filled with candy 100 feet into the air and let gravity do the rest…after it hits the ground, it’s a children’s delight as they race in to pick up the goodies to stock their Halloween bags early.

5 p.m.—Great Lawn
The Project Bundle–Up Pumpkin Splash

A special pumpkin drop to aid this worthy service effort—that provides new winter coats, hats, scarves, mittens and boots to thousands of underprivileged western Pennsylvania children and senior citizens annually. Similar to the pumpkin pinata drop, except this one lands in a 12’-diameter, 3’-deep inflatable pooProject Bundle Up WTAE SA Flat Colorl filled with water and numbered ping pong balls. From high in the air by crane, we release the pumpkin into the pool, dispersing the balls. The one traveling farthest from the pool gets the goods. To donate and be entered for prizes—click here!
